George “G-Unit” Jarvis cuts through the hype like a perfectly timed knee through the guard. The English challenger sees the Championship of Regian Eersel rule as kickboxing smoke and mirrors and he wants to expose him with Real Muay Thai.
Jarvis is confronted with Eersel for one lightweight Muay Thai world championship on One Fight Night 34 On Friday, August 1 in Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The 25-year-old Challenger confronts a Dutch-Surinamese champion who runs on an undefeated series of nine years.
Most hunters approach Eersel as if he were a mythical being, but jarvis? He looks at tape and believes that those Dutch kickboxing habits will hold when the real CLINCH work starts to fly.
Jarvis plans to drag Eeersel to deep Muay Thai Waters, where 4-back gloves are weapons of mass destruction in the conflict.
“Everyone forget it too. He is not a Muay Thai hunter. He has clearly fought Muay Thai for a long time, but you just have to look at his style. He is a kickboker. But if you fight Muay Thai, it is a different ball game, especially in small gloves, when I can grab him and he can go misery,” he said.
“I’ve been a Muay Thai hunter for twenty years, so he can’t beat my Muay Thai just after an eight-week camp. That’s where my confidence comes from.”
