Democratic lawmakers in New Hampshire introduced an abortion shield law this week, that would protect people from prosecution by abortion-restricting states for receiving legal care in New Hampshire. If passed, the bill would make it illegal for doctors to be extradited to other states to provide health care. Abortion is legal in the state up to 24 weeks of pregnancy. “We will continue to fend off attacks from those who seek to take away our bodily autonomy,” said Senator Debra Altschiller, the bill’s sponsor.

Queer federal employees claim discrimination
Current and former LGBTQ+ federal employees sue the Trump administration, claiming discrimination.
