The Milwaukee Brewers, fresh from a solid 7-5 victory, will record the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday evening for the second game of a four-game set.
Jacob Misiorowski gets the ball tonight, because he comes off a few whimsical starts against the Reds and Cubs. In total, he has allowed eight points allowed more than 5 1/3 innings (13.50 ERA) in those two trips, because the Brewers could escape with a large comeback victory on the Reds, but could not do the same against the Cubs last week. As was the case for a large part of the Minor League career of MIZ, the issue has been his order because he walked six and made another batter in his last two performances.
Miz will compete against Brandon Pfaadt, a third-year righty who, if you remember, 2 2/3 innings went against the Brewers in the NL Wild Card series of 2022 that the crew eventually lost.
