Despite the efforts of the weather, today’s series against the New York Mets is played as planned. Some of the roads that lead to the American family field are currently closed due to flash flames, including 175 south to Brewers Blvd and Canal St. from the East. Consult the message below from the Brewers organization for more information:
Now, as for today’s game:
Milwaukee starts Quinn Priester, who has been light lately – worn with a 2.30 ER during his last ten starts. He has been a revelation since the Brewers took over from the Boston Red Sox, where career heights in Strikeout (19.7%), ERA (3.15), Xera (3.59) and FIP (4.01) were placed. Winsts are not really a pitcher stat, but priest is 11-2 as a brewer-where it appears that he has brought the crew into a position to win the game almost every time he takes the hill.
Veteran Lefty Sean Manaea is on the hill for the Mets. Although Manaea has been effective (3.52 ERA, 3.55 FIP) through four starts since the return of a sloping injury, his last outing (against the Cleveland Guardians) was pretty rough – five points on seven hits with three strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings.
Manager Pat Murphy recently loves the rest of some of his usual starters on Sunday. Today’s game is no different – Sal Frelick, Brice Turang and Christian Yelich all get the day off.
Caleb Durbin will lead for the second time this week. Durbin hit 0-out-4 with a walk and a strikeout in that match, which was his first time he hit Leadoff as a brewer. He is followed by Isaac Collins (hitting.423 In the last seven games) and William Contreras, who gets the day behind the record. Andrew Vaughn is located at the cleaning place, followed by Blake Perkins and Andraw Monasterio (on second base). The bottom of the Line -Up is discussed are Danny Jansen, Brandon Lockridge (right) and Joey Ortiz.
Today’s game is broadcast on Fanduel Sports Wisconsin, Telemundo Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network. The first pitch is planned at 1:10 pm
