UFC Rio loses a fight, UFC Vegas 111 gets a main event.
That is the case with Gabriel Bonfim vs. Randy Brown. The welterweight fight, originally planned to take place next month in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be held instead on November 8, 2025 in the UFC Apex, where it will serve as the most important event of UFC Vegas 111.

Brown (20-6), nicknamed ‘Rude Boy’, is 4-1 in his last five fights in the UFC Octagon and comes from a knockout victory over Nicolas Dalby. Two of those four victories also collected Bonuses after the fight. His losses under the UFC banner are for the most part exceptionally good at the age and include Belal Muhammad, Jack della Maddalena, Vicente Luque, Niko Price and Bryan Battle.
Brazilian Gabriel Bonfim (18-1) undoubtedly looked out to fight at home, but just like Brown, it now gets his first UFC event. He is ranked #14 in the 170 pound rankings of the promotion. Brown is currently not arranged. Bonfim has won his last three performances, including a victory over Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
