With over 2000 combined wins, Harness Racing New South Wales is proud to announce the talented line-up of young drivers who will compete in the 2025 Rising Stars feature race at Club Menangle this Saturday on the evening of the Nutrien NSW Breeders Challenge Finals.
The Rising Stars event has become a major highlight of this feature night of racing, giving the state’s most promising junior driver the opportunity to compete on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
The rising stars of 2025 are:

HRNSW chief executive Peter Buckman said the event continues to highlight the depth of young talent across the state.
“The Rising Stars is a fantastic initiative that gives emerging drivers the opportunity to showcase their skills in a key race night environment,” said Mr Buckman.
“It is a proven springboard for many of our leading drivers and a great reflection of the future strength of harness racing in NSW.”
The Rising Stars feature race will share the spotlight with the six Nutrien NSW Breeders Challenge Finals, including four Group 1 races, bringing together the state’s best equine and human talent for an evening of top racing at Club Menangle.
The HRNSW Rising Stars is an event with a $20,400 penalty waiver over the mile for pacers with a national rating up to 80. The drivers are randomly assigned to the horses.
