Batavia, NY – A pair of $10,000 Class AA trot events were on display at Batavia Downs on Friday evening (Nov. 21) and both races featured run winners.
In the first division, Brookview Darius took no prisoners into a fence to romp.
Brookview Darius (Joe Chindano Jr.) made it through the quarter in :28 just before Wild Bill Kelso (Kevin Cummings) came alongside for the next two panels, clocked in :59.1 and 1:28. As the race entered turn four, Brookview Darius Wild put away Bill Kelso and opened up two lengths at the top of the stretch, then rocketed home four lengths in front in 1:57.2.
It was the seventh win of the year for Brookview Darius ($4.38), owned by Friendship Stables and trained by Sheena Cohen.

Then in the second group, Itsoneofthose put together fast fractions in an almost career effort.
His one of them (Kevin Cummings) took a quick lead from a pylon start, parking Treasured Tee (Drew Monti) in a quick time of :27.2 to the quarter before Treasured Tee made a break. This left Itsoneofthose all alone at half in:57.3 and three-quarters in 1:27.1. While Latavius (Dave McNeight Jr.) and My One Percent (Kyle Cummings) try to keep up with the curve. When they were on the brink, neither could catch up as Itsoneofthose sealed the deal decisively in 1:56.4, just a fifth of his lifetime goal.

It was the 39th career win for Itsoneofthose ($13.18), and the first for owner Lav Racing Stable following its claim at Pocono Downs last week.
Drivers Kevin Cummings had a total of four wins on the card, while trainers Chris Petrelli and Shawn McDonough each had two wins.
Live racing resumes at Batavia Downs on Saturday (Nov. 22) with post time at 6 p.m.
Starting next week, Batavia Downs will switch to a Wednesday-Saturday schedule beginning Wednesday (Nov. 26) and running through Saturday (Dec. 20). Post time for all dates remains 6:00 PM
