Friday Fema about Robbie Williams, photo albums and Greece – Travel Friday

The first week in August is behind us and I will be back in Nynäshamn after a few weeks. It is very nice to get home. Almost as much fun as leaving! I started working a bit, but the summer –holiday -children tend to devour time, even if they are great. Lots of time! This Friday evening, for example, I will devote to pushing a few different people here and there. But first a Friday five with Golden Glitter all the way from Stockholm Stadium.

#1. Robbie Williams in Stockholm Stadium

A couple of months ago, Tobias surprised me with tickets for the Robbie William concert in Stockholm. Of course I was very happy – can you be something else to see Robbie live?

And after almost a whole summer, the date eventually fell when we, together with thousands of other prospective visitors, marched to the stadium, only a few streets of my old apartment. The sunglasses came in handy on Thursday evening, the jacket that I could have left at home.

How does the review of Robbie Williams Concert read? The audience gets minus, we probably all agree. Visitors generally feel old, tired and fairly powerless. I heard from a friend that the pressure in Copenhagen was considerably higher and that the atmosphere was more festive, although the average age of the audience was a bit the same. Apparently Robbie Williams has previously chosen Stockholm as Arena because of the tired audience – we are just quite difficult to flirt (Gothenburg is doing better). Robbie himself becomes almost without right, although he was certainly switched off on the beat. He seems to feel pretty satisfied with life and his self -imposed role as “King of Entertainment”. The new songs he plays (two pieces) are not very good at all, but if there is something that Robbie is good, it is to live on old merits. Both his own and others – he certainly drives duvets both here and there.

The stage conversation is brilliant and the theater show is completely okay. The young dancers, the girls Like Robbie calls them, driving around the iron in her minimal outfits. And sorry Robbie, but some of the dance numbers will quickly, very quickly, feel like a part of a gone era á la Robbie 2020 and instead are about to … old modes!? Speaking of eras, there is a lot of talk about the wife Ayda and their four communal children during the show. I like this version of Robbie and the best song will be (undoubtedly indeed indeed) “I love my life” While he devotes his children. A quieter version could certainly have been played on a infant baptism:

I may not be there for all your fights
But you will eventually win them
I pray to give you everything that matters
So one day you will say to me

I love my life
I am powerful
I am beautiful
I’m free

I love my life

I am magical
I am myself
I love my life

It was certainly a long exhibition (I could have continued!), But it can be enough for this time. Robbie Williams is and remains one of the best entertainers of our time. However, I am not sure that my children would agree.

#2. All I want is a bit of peace and quiet

After a couple of summer vacation weeks in different constellations, all family members are now home again. Cozy? Maybe not exactly the word I would use today. The only thing I want is a bit of peace and quiet. A little big would be enough …

… maybe a day or so. I am thinking of a hotel in a true sleeping catus spirit at night. Not so much to let the brain rest (it is almost for rested, at the point of Lethargic), but rather to prevent him from acting a service factory.

#3. We have to stop closing the summer season at the beginning of August

This morning I registered with Instagram and he was met by the following message in the current: “It is Friday and so we are open the last night for the summer season!” It is easy to be mentioned a bit when such a message is given on 8 August. Summer is over, Finito and Over, restaurants and shops bar again and coming autumn guests have to do with Trianga Kitchen and Netflix-Scroll in the tent when they visit our Swedish “Summer Cities”. It may not be so bad, but it is a bit depressed when the summer is equated in Sweden for two months. Fight August!

#4. Photo albums and albums are the world’s best thing!

After our last visit to the grandmother and grandfather of the children in Gothenburg, we could again notice that photo albums and albums are really the world’s best thing. It is a good reminder to fulfill both hard drives and different cloud services to make a case and actually print some of those trillion images that are broken every day.

Sebbe’s first three years gathered in this specific album. We traveled a lot during that period …

… And when little sister Nelly came, it became even more. Here we had just returned from Cambodia to spend three months in Thailand instead. Good decision!

#5. Greece fever in our streams

Earlier today, Lisa and I recorded a new episode of To travel Where we go through the snack ice/trends that we have intercepted so far in the summer of 2025.

Greece is mentioned for the simple reason that so many people seem to have visited this country in recent weeks – as well as our family. Islands, mainland, Bootrek, Charter, Self -nod Dutel Travel, with or without children – This country attracts everything and everyone.

Today it was certainly a mixed Friday five today, just like my thinking paths in general this weekend. My life will be recorded on Monday. In other words, everything is just As it should be. Happy weekend!
