The German came through a three-man play-off and won the title the 2026 Bahrain Championship by Calum Hill and Patrick Reed.
The trio had all finished on all 17 under par at the Royal Golf Club before Schott won the title on the second extra hole. Reed left on the first play-off hole and Hill conceded on the second play-off hole.
Schott had won twice before in his career: a first Pro Tour victory in the 2021 FaberExposize Gelpenberg Open and on the Challenge Tour in the 2022 Frederikshavn Challenge.
