Fred Vanvlet van Rockets to undergo surgery in the right knee
Per Kelly Iko Vanvleet vanvlet stood out the right knee injury of Yahoo Sports at an unofficial team of Minicamp in the Bahamas. The one-off All-Star and 2019 NBA champion will undergo surgery this week, IKO adds.
Vanvlet, 31, joined the rockets during the low season of 2023 with a three -year contract of $ 150 million. The unsigned guard helped Houston improve from 22 victories to 41 in his first year.

In 60 games (all starts) with the rockets last season, Vanvlete had an average of 14.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 35.2 minutes per match while he shoots 37.8% and 34.5% from 3-point area.
His point average in 2024-25 was his lowest in a season since 2018-19, but he logged 18.7 points per match in the play-offs to 43% shooting from the floor and 43.5% of deep.
Houston also refused the team option of $ 44.9 million of $ 44.9 million for next season in June. The Wichita State product then has an extension of $ 50 million of $ 50 million inked, with the deal including a player option in 2026-27.
