Now in his eighth edition, De Laver Cup places six of the best men’s tennis players from Europe against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world in an exciting three -day league.
The competition played on a dramatic black indoor court and rotates every year between Europe and the rest of the world cities. The six players of each team must all participate in one singles match during the first two days, and no more than two during the three-day league. At least four of the six players have to play twice. Each competition win is worth one point on Friday, two points on Saturday and three points on Sunday, with the first team that reached 13 points that the Laver Cup win.
The 2025 edition of Laver Cup marks the first performance of the event on the American West Coast, with the state-of-the-art Chasing centerThe home base of the seven-time NBA champion Golden State Warriors and the Golden State Valkyries of WNBA, who is organizing tennis for the first time.
