Antoine Semenyo (£ 7.8 million) scored twice and offered an assist when Bournemouth came from behind to beat Fulham on Friday.

Here are our explorations of a wet and windy vitality stadium.

Semenyo “The Difference”

Antoine Semenyo yielded a nice version on Friday, on the way to a remarkable 18-point fantasy trait.

The Bournemouth wing player scored two late goals and offered the assist for replacement Justin Kluivert‘s (£ 7.0 million) strike, which pushes him to the first place in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points rankings:

Semenyo has never struggled with shot volume; This season, however, he takes photos of much better locations and, more importantly, with greater accuracy.

Indeed, his shot conversion has risen to 35.3%, compared to only 8.8% in 2024/25.

“I think I am slowing things in my head. In previous seasons I have always hit the ball too quickly and hit without accuracy. In the low season I worked on calm and collected and placed in the corner.” – Antoine Semenyo

“Semenyo is in a very good place, he improves every season. Now he is a player who makes the difference.” – Andoni Iraolao in Antoine Semenyo

The versions of Semenyo, which now has six goals and three assists in seven games, are the key to the excellent start of Bournemouth.

The Cherries are now in second place in the table and have taken 10 points from home furnishings against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brighton and Hove Albion, Newcastle United and Fulham.

However, they have a number of difficult traveling to come after the international break:

“We have difficult games after the international break, we are playing the palace, Manchester City Gone, Aston Villa away. It is not getting any easier, but it is good to arrive with a large number of points. I hope we take a breathing that the players earn and we will go again.” – Andoni Iraola

Why Senesi was immersed

The most purchased defender of Gameweek 7, Mark Senesi (£ 4.9 million), empty in the Vitality Stadium, while replacing it after 77 minutes.

At the time of his departure, the Bournemouth Center half had only registered seven defensive contributions (Defcons), three under the required number for extra points.

But what was the reason for his replacement?

With Bournemouth at the back 1-0, Andoni Iraola shuffled his pack and opted for a more offensive strategy by replacing Senesi with wings Ben Gannon-Do (£ 4.9 million).

Only seven minutes later the cherries were 2-1 up.

“If you lose, you have to try to change the game. We had to take risks and attract more offensive players and worked.” – Andoni Iraola

Elsewhere £ 4.0 million defender James Hill was recalled to Iraola’s start XI instead of Alex Jimenez (£ 4.5 million). Immersed on the hourly sign, he even brought four clean pages.

King ‘Oop’

You have to feel for Fulham, who was undone by two exceptional goals from Semenyo and Kluisert.

In a competition that seemed destined to be easily forgotten, Ryan Sessegnon (£ 5.4 million) the cottagers had previously put first when he ran a ball through the ball of replacement Challenge (£ 5.4 million) to score.

Fulham, however, had to play without a recognized striker on the south coast, making Marco Silva a formation of 3-4-2-1, with Josh King (£ 4.5 million) play like a false nine within a liquid front three:

King again looked comfortable on the ball until he was replaced for 66 minutes, but the system seemed to be a work in progress.

In the absence of a recognized striker in his line-up, Marco Silva said:

“It is a completely different scenario for us and it is not at all ideal. The team that we have built the last three or four seasons with a certain way to play has the number nine certain types of characteristics. [Jimenez and Muniz] Has never happened before. We try to take the reference of the central defenders and to play with a more versatile front line, a more mobile front line. “ – Marco Silva

In terms of Joachim Andersen (£ 4.5 million), he banked Defcon points for the sixth game in a row.

Now Lukic (£ 5.0 million) Meanwhile, had to be immersed in the first half due to a suspected muscle injury.
