Our transfer round looks at the recent deals that took place in the Premier League, including Sunderland’s Capture or Granit xhaka (£ 5.0 million).

The most remarkable arrivals from a Fantasy Premier League (FPL) perspective will always have their own reconnaissance reports, while regular round -ups such as this one summarize the other.

Remember that you can find all confirmed transfers here during the summer.

Our complete pre-season guide also contains a wealth of other articles to read prior to the new campaign.

Granit Xhaka (Bayer Leverkusen to Sunderland, £ 13 million)
Robin Roefs (NEC Nijmegen to Sunderland, not announced)

Switzerland International Granit Xhaka has returned to the Premier League with Sunderland.

The 32-year-old made 33 Bundesliga performances for Bayer Leverkusen last season, scored twice and gave another seven assists.

His excellent distribution and the ability to orchestrate the game were much clear in 2024/25-the playmaker made more line-breaking steps than any other player in the German top flight.

Xhaka was a minimal target threat with a shot every 137.7 minutes; His ability to deliver a key pass every 57.8 minutes suggests that he has the potential to engage with a few assists.

Part of Dead-Ball tasks would further increase its profession.

Of course Xhaka will probably have to play a little deeper in Sunderland, after he was previously set up as one of the two central midfielders in a 3-4-2-1 formation at Leverkusen, but it should help to increase his defensive contributions. He on average 7.6 per 90 of those in his last season in Arsenal, but this will undoubtedly increase playing for a newly promoted club.

Xhaka’s disciplinary record, which was so often a problem at Arsenal, has also been improved, with only three bookings in his 33 Bundesliga performances in 2024/25.

Sunderland is back in action against Real Betis on Saturday afternoon, and it would be no surprise to see Xhaka start, already to be seen for Leverkusen in the preseason.

Robin RoefsIn the meantime, FPL has to be priced, but it certainly comes to £ 4.5 million.

The Dutch keeper, who previously represented his country at the European U21 championships, made 32 Eredivisie for NEC last season and held 10 clean sheets.

Standing at 6ft 4, it has been suggested that Roef’s have been signed to compete with Anthony Patterson (£ 4.5 million) instead of simply replacing him, although the expectation under the fan base is that he will soon become the first choice, especially in view of the reported £ 9.5 million compensation.

Dan Ndoye (Bologna to Nottingham Forest, £ 34 million)

Nottingham Forest successfully completed the interest from Napoli to Land Bologna Winger And ndoye Earlier this week.

Arrived in a deal with a value of £ 34 million, the Swiss International will serve as a direct replacement for Anthony Luna (£ 7.0 million), who achieved 17 attacking returns during the 2024/25 season.

Ndoye scored eight goals and gave four assists in 30 Serie A performances last season. He also produced the winning goal against AC Milan in the final of Coppa Italia, so Bologna helped to win their first major trophy in 51 years.

In terms of profile, he is a pace, a direct threat that would have to swing seamlessly in the Nuno Espirito Santo counter -valid system.

Ndoye registered a shot every 41.4 minutes, a faster rate than one of the regular first team starters of Forest. However, Elanga was clear in terms of creativity, with a key pass every 51.0 minutes compared to Ndoye’s 79.7 minutes.

Nevertheless by preserving Morgan Gibbs-White (£ 7.5 million) and now add NDoye to the mix, it feels like Bos is in a much better place.

A price of £ 6.0 million/£ 6.5 million is expected in FPL.

Ndoye was able to make his debut for Bos during the preseason -friendly against Birmingham City on Saturday.

Lucas Perri (Lyon to Leeds United, £ 15.6 million)

Leeds United kept a total of 25 clean sheets in the championship last season, but criticism was often leveled with goalkeeper Evening Meslier (£ 4.5 million), which was eventually dropped for the last games.

With seven more games, Karl Darlow (£ 4.0 million) took over the position, but it seems that Leeds will now have a new number one for the coming season.

Lucas Perri (£ 4.5 million) joined Lyon in a deal with a report of £ 15.6 million.

The 27-year-old Brazilian played 45 games in all competitions last season and kept 13 clean sheets. Moreover, he registered 116 Saves in his 33 league performances, on average 3.5 per match.

This impressive form led to a call-up of the Brazilian team for the world cup qualifications in March.

As far as his FPL prospects are concerned, it is unlikely that many FPL managers are looking for a newly promoted keeper, especially with cheaper £ 4.0 million routes in the back lines of each side.

That said, Perri looks like a decent acquisition and can be one to check.

Crithian Mosquera (Valencia to Arsenal, £ 13 million)

Arsenal completed a deal to sign Spanish U21 international defender Cristhiane Mosquera (£ 5.5 million) last week.

He will offer coverage at the Centrumback for First-choice couples William Saliba (£ 6.0 million) and Gabriel Magalhaes (£ 6.0 million).

The sports director of Arsenal did indeed say: “He is an important signing for our future” after his unveiling last week.

It is not the most promising quote for those who hope that the Spaniard could offer a route to the backline of Arsenal, but it can quickly become useful such as Jakub Kiwior (£ 5.5 million) did last season when injuries occur.

Mosquera is only 21, but only scored one goal in his club career.
