As Gameweek 25 of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) approaches, our experts are finalizing their teams ahead of tonight’s deadline.
FPL General, who have three top 500 finishes to his name, continue to plow without Erling Haaland (£14.9m)!
Here he outlines his plans for the coming week.
Gameweek 24 review

Some things in life are unavoidable: death, taxes, and a red arrow when you use a Wildcard in FPL. Fortunately it was only a small one of approximately 50,000 places.
Going forward I am happy with the squad and the current plan is to use Bench Boost in Double Gameweek 26.
The players sent with the Wildcard took it personally! Mark Senesi (£4.8 million), Rayan Cherki (£6.6 million), Antoine Semenyo (£7.8 million), Matheus Cunha (£8.0 million), Florian Wirtz (£8.3 million) and Hugo Ekitike (£8.9 million) have ruined it all. I’m sure one or two of them will be back in my squad before the end of the season.
After talking about him being a big asset all season, Declan Rice (£7.5m) eventually joined the troops, with teammate Bukayo Saka (£9.9 million) makes way. It was (fortunately) well timed, because Saka is injured. Arsenal’s double defense did the business against Leeds United, so hopefully there will be many more clean sheets to come.
Rice has not done anything in his last four appearances, but I am confident he will continue to be of great value between now and Gameweek 38. He may even get the armband for Double Gameweek 26, to distinguish himself from those who opt for it Gabriel Magalhaes (£7.1 million).
Ultimately I opted for it Cole Palmer (£10.4m) over Enzo Fernandez (£6.8m) in the Wildcard. At my rank it makes sense to take a few gambles, and I was happy to see the former get some rest mid-week. You could say Enzo should have been there Morgan Rogers (£7.6m), but that’s easy to say in retrospect. It’s a nice midfield five.
Elsewhere, keep Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m) – because I didn’t like any other striker – and getting rid of a Chelsea defense I don’t trust couldn’t have gone better.
