FPL Gameweek 18 Differentials: 3 Low Owner Picks to Consider

FPL Gameweek 18 Differentials: 3 Low Owner Picks to Consider

It’s time to look at some more differences as Gameweek 18 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) quickly approaches.

We only focus on FPL picks with 5% ownership or less at the time of writing.

This time we’ve selected low-ownership players at Sunderland, Fulham and Newcastle United who we believe can have an impact not only in the upcoming Gameweek, but also in the medium term.

ENZO LE FEE

  • FPL Ownership: 0.8%
  • Price: £4.9 million
  • GW18-22 fixtures: LEE | MCI | to | bre | SCREAM

Enzo Le Fee (€4.9m) has emerged as a fresh budget option in midfield after some fine recent performances.

The Frenchman offered real quality at the Amex Stadium in Gameweek 17.

He created five chances against Brighton and Hove Albion, the most of any player, and was unlucky not to get away with an assist.

He also came close in the second half with a header.

Le Fee is a versatile player who can operate on the wing or centrally. He has created twelve chances in the past six gameweeks, which is only bettered by nine other midfielders.

That creativity could give Sunderland an edge against Leeds United on Sunday.

Daniel Farke’s men are unbeaten in four games, but have conceded seventeen goals since the start of November, the third most of any team.

Le Fee, meanwhile, scored both of Sunderland’s penalties in 2025/26.

He also takes some corners/free kicks and averages 8.8 defensive contributions (DefCon) per 90 minutes, highlighting his different routes to points.

So for those Fantasy managers looking for a midfielder under £5.0m, Le Fee seems worth considering.

One word of warning: one more booking in the next two gameweeks and he will receive a one-match ban.

ANTONEE ROBINSON

  • FPL Ownership: 0.6%
  • Price: £4.9 million
  • GW18-22 fixtures: how | cry | LIV | CH | lee

After returning from injury in Gameweek 16, Antonee Robinson‘s (£4.9m) Fantasy appeal is on the rise again.

The left-back has impressed in his last two games, reaching the DefCon threshold on both occasions, with 23 in total.

He also kept a clean sheet and created two chances against Nottingham Forest on Monday, and was ranked first among teammates for crosses (four) and second for passes into the penalty area (two).

Robinson’s performances in attacking areas of the pitch are undoubtedly the main attraction from a Fantasy perspective.

The US international claimed an assist against Newcastle United in the EFL Cup last week, delivered a precise cross for Sasa Lukic (£4.9m) to head home, and made 10 assists in the Premier League last season, the most of any defender.

Robinson’s selection is also aimed at Gameweek 18 opponents West Ham United, who rank second in terms of key passes from their right flank since the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo.

His relationship with Kevin (£5.8m) on Fulham’s left could then potentially prove crucial.

“A full-back like Robinson can help any winger at this level because his ability to overlap and underlap the winger always gives the winger different types of solutions, not just one-on-one moments, but a full-back always gives solutions for the future.” –Marco Silva

The quote below adds further optimism and suggests Robinson could be a good alternative option for the festive period, especially with positional rival Ryan Sessegnon (£5.4m) injured.

After two, three months without playing he can play 90 minutes against Burnley, while three days he plays 90 minutes against Newcastle because he is a great athlete, as we all know.” – Marco Silva on Antonee Robinson

ANTONY GORDON

  • FPL Ownership: 3.0%
  • Price: £7.3 million
  • GW18-22 fixtures: mun | bur | CRY | LEE | wool

That means two penalties and two assists in the last four matchweeks Anthony Gordon (£7.3m) comes into Gameweek 18 in decent form.

Despite fierce competition for attacking spots at Newcastle United, Gordon has been a starter in each of the last three top-flight games.

He also played a key role, with five shots and four chances created.

“Chelsea was one of his best games this season. Finding that level of consistency in every game is what separates the best players from the others.” – Eddie Howe on Anthony Gordon

Gordon’s minutes are admittedly not entirely secure, with positional rival Harvey Barnes (£6.2m) posing the biggest threat. Even when he starts, substitutions occur regularly around the 70 minute mark.

However, Newcastle’s turnaround times over Christmas and New Year are favorable, adding to Gordon’s appeal.

Eddie Howe’s team travels to Old Trafford on Boxing Day.

The Red Devils have not had a clean sheet since Gameweek 7 and looked particularly vulnerable along their right flank on Sunday, with Leny Yoro (£4.3m) poor.

Making up just 3.0% of squads, Gordon can also provide value over the next five Gameweeks, with further favorable encounters against Burnley, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It means three of Gordon’s next five opponents all rank in the bottom six for StatsBomb’s expected goals against (xGC) per 90 minutes this season, as below.
