OFFENSIVE RETURN CHANCES: TOP 20 PLAYERS
Note: Odds based on whether the player starts
It’s no surprise to see Erling Haaland (£15.1m) tops the odds for Gameweek 18. He has already provided 19 goals and four assists this season and now travels to Nottingham Forest. The matchup seems ideal for him to extend that return.
Sit right behind Hugo Ekitike (£8.9 million). Liverpool host Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are at rock bottom, and push Ekitike into second place with an attacking efficiency of 67%. Wolves have conceded more goals than any other side this season, which gives him a perfect platform.
Bukayo Saka (£10.3 million) completes the top three. Arsenal welcome a shaky defense from Brighton & Hove Albion, with Saka arriving in strong form after scoring four attacking goals in his last four league games.
Despite being sold by over 140,000 managers before the deadline, Igor Thiago (£7.1m) is still performing well for Gameweek 18. Brentford’s penalty taker has lost to zero in four straight league matches, but a meeting with Bournemouth, who have conceded the second-worst 23 goals in the league during their travels, offers a great chance to reset.
Cole Palmer (£10.4m) joins Thiago with 58%. A strong Arsenal contingent follows closely behind Florian Wirtz (£8.0m), which continues to attract new owners. Bruno Fernandes’ injury (£9.3m) is obviously responsible for most of that.
Finally, Matheus Cunha (£8.0m) continues to rise in ownership as the deadline approaches. With a league-best 22 shots in the last three matchweeks, he also looks capable of delivering against poor travelers Newcastle United.
