Bruno Fernandes (£ 9.0 m) and Bryan Mbeumo (£ 8.0 million) Both emerged with double digits when Manchester United Burnley turned around on Saturday.
Two of Bruno’s most important sales arguments such as a fantasy are that he is a 90 -minute man and on penalties. Both were the key to him saving a 10-point return of the jaws of a blank while he gave a spot-kick-kick up to date.
But for FPL -managers opt for Matheus Cunha (£ 8.1 million) If their route to the United Attack there was more misery.
Our first reconnaissance notes from Gameweek 3 records the five-goal thriller at Old Trafford.
Cunha + mount injury last
Cunha collapsed after just half an hour of Saturday’s victory to a hamstring injury.
It also got worse for Ruben Amorim. Mason Mount (£ 6.0 million)-who demonstrably the best player of United was also released during the rest in the first half.
Both will be assessed.
“It was hard to lose Cunha and Mason Mount, because Mason Mount played for 30 minutes with an injury. I am worried about that because they are so important to us. We will see it.” – Ruben Amorim to Sky Sports
“Don’t know [how they are]Don’t know. We will check them. We really need those guys to be really competitive. “-Ruben Amorim in his press after the game
Amorim about the fitness of Sesko
Joshua Zirkzee (£ 5.9 million), and not Benjamin Sesko (£ 7.4 million), was raised for Cunha when the Brazilian hobbled.
And Kobbie Mainoo (£ 4.9 million) was the man who was introduced for Mount during the interval.
Sesko did not appear until the 72nd minute, and Amorim is clearly careful with the Slovenian Spits’s Fitness.
“Everything is connected. So he finished the game [against Grimsby] with cramps, really in the limit and that is why we have protected Ben against the penalties and today was that reason also because Josh [Zirkzee] Is also a striker, he is an international striker.
“But I thought I didn’t do 90 minutes during the preseason and he did [for the first time] Against a fourth division team. He did that on Wednesday.
“With Cunha’s problem you don’t know if that full game in the middle of the week today has something to do with the injury. With the problem with Mason Mount, I didn’t risk that another player did not know if they could play so many minutes. So everything was connected – the penalty, the game on Wednesday and the number of minutes I thought before Ben today.” – Ruben Amorim on Benjamin Sesko
Bruno still on pens – and back in the ’10’
Despite his Miss from 12 Yards in Gameweek 2, Fernandes kept control of the fine tasks when United got their last Spot kick on Saturday.
“I didn’t expect Bruno to miss two penalties in a row. So I was really confident.” – Ruben Amorim
It was another all -rounder display of the Portuguese playmaker on Saturday. Producing defensive contribution (DC/Defcon) points for the second game in a row (he was one of this also in Gameweek 1), he also picked up six chances and four shots.

Fernandes started in the central midfield against the Clarets, but when Mount went off, he got more of an attacking role.
Mainoo for Mount on HT + goes next to Casemiro. Fernandes has shifted to No. 10. Suppose the injury to Mount, which had played well. #Murnc

Fernandes can indeed be there in Gameweek 4, depending on the fitness states of the mountain, Cunha and Sesko. However, it sounds like Amorim still prefers ‘runners’ in the dual-10 roles:
“In the second half we miss a bit of pace because Bruno can control the game more as a number 10, but we miss a bit of a man to stretch the game like Brian [Mbeumo]. ” – Ruben Amorim
Fernandes of course still has a lot of attraction in a deeper role: five of his six opportunities created came in the first half. He would also have had an assist, had Casemiro‘s (£ 5.5 million) went more open instead of touching the woodwork and returning to Josh Cullen (£ 5.0 million).
Mbeumo of the goal
United Players were at the top of the Premier League data tables on Saturday. Together they were more attempts (26) and XG (3.54) than any other team. Zirzkee had more shots (seven) than any other top player. Fernandes created more opportunities (six).
Mbeumo was at the top for non-penalty expected target involvement (NPXGI, 1.29), meanwhile.
Lively in the first half, especially and closer to go with two efforts on the right side of the box, he was at the hand of closer reach to sweep home Diogo Dalot‘s (£ 4.5 million) Cut-back after the break.
He is the ‘out ball’ in this united side, something that can be in his advantage in the next two games (city/chelsea) in particular when the Red Devils come across.

Dalot got the nod over Patrick Dorga (£ 4.5 million) at the left wing.
Budget couple score, Dubravka Excellent
Burnley did not exist as an attacking force in the first half, but Rally after the break. They, together with Leeds United and Sunderland, look a bit more competent than last year’s promoted trio, even if it might still not be enough to save them from the drop in May.
Lyle Foster (£ 5.0 million) is FPL’s joint height that is currently starting and packs his first goal of 2025/26 here. He was also denied a second by a marginal offside call, after he was thwarted by VAR last week. At least his finish is on point.
In the meantime, Jaidon Anthony (£ 5.5 million) made the three attacking returns in three games by poking in the second equalizer.
Martin Dubravka (£ 4.0 million) also had a good game between the posts, despite the fact that they admitted three times. None of the goals he could do a lot about, and he almost produced a miracle saving to keep Cullen’s own goal out.
