Four young players at a crossroads of dynasty – Dynasty League Football

The Super Bowl is in the rearview mirror. Unless you’re a Seahawks fan still basking in the glory of Sunday’s big win, you’re in full offseason mode, anticipating moves in free agency and, of course, getting excited for April’s draft.

Talent changing locations or moving to the league will always dominate the headlines, but it’s also important to take stock of players remaining in their existing situations. For every player who takes a step forward in their progression, there are several who take a step back. Identifying the path for each player is a great way to gain an edge during the dynasty offseason.

Below, we take a look at four players who have found themselves at a dynasty crossroads. It may be time to plant your flag and decide whether to fight for them or write them off as sunk costs.

Rome Odunze, WR CHI

January Startup ADP: 28th overall, WR15

It all came together for Odunze early in his second season. He stormed out of the gate with touchdowns in his first four games and a 128-yard effort against the Lions in what looked like a breakout performance. He cooled off immediately afterwards, scoring just once more in 2025 with a single 100-metre effort, while dealing with a stress fracture in his foot that ultimately led to him missing time and certainly hampered him during what quickly became a disappointing campaign.
