Four drivers, four winners in AHDC Weekend Sweep

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The campaign of the American Harness Drivers Club (AHDC) of this weekend saw four different drivers win in the four events that were flooded in two days over two Harnas racestracks, with Scott Keppler and Anthony Verruso won in the AHDC Paces at Harrah on SHDC).

Scott Keppler opened the weekend with a pillar-to-post victory with 7-5 favorite Swiss house Onfire in a 1:58 Mile in the first division of the AHDC Proto. Keppler found a comfortable lead with the chalk and cut a wise pace of: 28.2 ,: 57.4 and 1: 27.3 with minimal challenge. All too well (driven by Yogi Sheridan) tried to get a first bid for the last turn, but tired completion for home while the Swiss house is firing tightly to a 1-1/4 length victory. Big Nudge (Anthony Verruso) collected a ground -saving journey for the second, together with Snowman Hanover (Vanessa Karlewicz) in third place. Pocket-Sitter Keystone Thunder (Paul Minore) faded to fourth place.

Swiss house Onfire -Herling

Ricky Bucci trains the Swiss house Onfire, an 8-year-old gelding through MusketFor owner Flatland Racing. He paid $ 4.80 to win.

Later in the afternoon, Anthony Verruso has nailed favorite and tempo-setter massive matter (Tony Beltrami) to grab the second AHDC-Draff with large limousine in a 1:56 mile. Verruso followed solid matter while he clocked fractions of: 28 ,: 57.1 and 1: 26.2 with the only edition from a mild push from Sevenshadesofgrey (Yogi Sheridan) about the approach of three -quarters. Sassive matter refuted the external challenger and accelerated the challenge of Big Limo in it immediately, but Veruso’s charge built up enough momentum to get the victory through a nose on the line. Mamy Wata (Paul Minore) followed the top two for third place, while Sevenshadesofgrey rose fourth.

Frank Tsipouras started the AHDC promotion on Sunday with a victory by Fred’s Night, the second longest shot on the board, in the opening split of the $ 7,500 AHDC pp. At odds from 23-1, Fred’s Night shot in a: 26.3 first quarter and held a confident advantage, while delaying to a: 55 half. After several failed first trip at the weekend, Yogi Sheridan plowed up the Rand for a 1: 55.4 victory by 5-2 Second choice Rose Run in the second division of the AHDC tempo. Sheridan launched his bid from the sixth after a: 28 first quarter and zipped out to reach PaceSetter Grateful Kiss’s (Bruce Baker) wheel that is approaching a: 58.2 half.
