Magic Cap Stables’s Fort Washington delivered an exciting victory in the degree 1 Arlington Million in Colonial Downs, who stormed home from the latter under a perfectly timed ride through Junior Alvarado.
After a bump at the beginning with Cairo, Alvarado loved his mountain relaxed relaxed well from the pace, while the Time Song stated an opening quarter of 23.49 and held most of the journey site.

The victory marked Fort Washington’s first grade 1 and continued a remarkable run for Alvarado, which has a tear in the biggest races of sport. This was Alvarado’s 10th Graded Stakes victory of 2025 and his fourth at the level of degree 1, so that he was further established as one of the most reliable riders with large money in the country. The patient of the jockey, self -assured style has proved to be invaluable in Top Company, and the performance of Saturday was another master class in timing and balance on the largest stage.
