Die-Hard Phoenix Suns fans will remember the name Alex Len quite well. The Ukrian’s great man was selected as fifth by the Suns in the 2013 NBA design, and he was loved by a large part of the fan base, even though he never really met expectations. Now Len may be able to be waived from the New York Knicks after the training camp.
Alex started his professional career abroad with Dnipro in Ukraine before he played two seasons at the University of Maryland. He was then taken as a lottery -pick with a considerable amount of excitement around him and what he could become in the NBA. After having spent the first five seasons of his NBA career in Phoenix, Len became a travel man.
At the moment he has played for the Suns, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers and is currently playing with the KNICKS on an exhibition 9 contract.
Many speculate that Alex could be waived Next training camp. It doesn’t feel exactly like he has a very strong opportunity to make the New York schedule, especially after his limited impact in a shorter stint with the Lakers last season.

The unfortunate reality is that Len’s best days as a NBA player are just behind him at the moment. Expect that he will have a reasonable impact on a team is probably a bit unrealistic at the moment. In 10 games in Los Angeles last season, he was on average only 2.2 points while he only came on the floor 12.2 minutes a night.
It is that kind of figures that are often indicative of a man on the way to the competition. Alex’s role has been taking for several years now, and although he can still show himself in the training camp and can change his circumstances, it certainly does not seem likely.
Sons -fans who have positive memories of Len may want to hold on to hope for the former player of their team. But the truth is that it has been a few seasons since Alex was really a difference. Len has had difficulty with defense, is not a great rebounder at this stage in the game and will just have difficulty making the selection of a team, unfortunately.
The most obvious result is that Alex Len does not make the New York schedule this season. Given his age and some heavy competition, it would not be a surprise at all if he was released and gets the chance to chase another chance elsewhere.
