Former football star Jordan Elsey has a new plan: build a career in real estate.
The 31-year-old – who played for Adelaide United, Newcastle Jets and Perth Glory during his professional career in the A-League – has joined Ray White’s Campbelltown squad.
He hopes to channel the same discipline and determination that helped him succeed on the field into the real estate world.
“Professional football and real estate require discipline, strategy and performance under pressure,” said Mr. Elsey, born and raised in Golden Grove.
“In both areas, success is based on preparation, teamwork and consistency.

Former professional football player Jordan Elsey is pursuing a career in real estate.
“Coming from a professional sports background, I have experienced significant rejection and pressure, so I view obstacles as opportunities rather than challenges.
“My primary focus will be on managing contracts and administrative processes, and I look forward to working with the team to master these systems.”
Mr Elsey started playing football professionally at the age of 18 and spent 13 years at the top level in Australia.
Although he will continue to play football in the local league, this will be his first career move outside of football.
For him, moving into real estate isn’t just a career change, it’s the start of building a legacy in a new field.
“I am excited about the challenge of a new career and am motivated to build a strong reputation for myself in the real estate industry, just as I did in football,” he said.

He played in the A-League for Adelaide United, Newcastle Jets and Perth Glory during his professional career.
“I have always been interested in the market and like to follow living trends.
“The most exciting thing for me is that no two days are the same – just like in football, where no two games are ever the same.”
Ray White Campbelltown director Nick Borrelli said Elsey’s transition was a natural progression.
“Elite athletes understand what it takes to perform under pressure, work as part of a team and consistently deliver results – all essential qualities in real estate,” he said.
“We look forward to mentoring Jordan and helping him channel his sporting discipline into building strong customer relationships and achieving success in the Campbelltown market.”
