Joelinton spoke before the competition in Brussels.
On Wednesday evening, Newcastle United sees Union Saint-Gilloise, because they hope to achieve their first Champions League victory of the season.
A breakdown 2-1 defeat against Barcelona two weeks ago in St James’ Park in the first round of competition matches.
A busy schedule for United, because they regularly play on midweek and at the weekend.
Joelinton believes that Newcastle United can bounce back from Sunday’s defeat against Arsenal.
Joelinton speaks at the press conference before the competition prior to the view of Union Saint-Gilloise:
“I feel good and the team is good.
“Everyone is positive.
“Sunday was difficult, but we will continue and tomorrow we have another chance to win the game.
‘We were disappointed [Against Arsenal] And sad, but that is part of football.
“This season there are so many competitions and you can’t be disappointed for that long.
“Tomorrow is another game, we are positive and hopefully we can bounce back and win the victory.
“I think we always learn in every game and competition we play.
“We always try to learn something in defeats and win.
“I think the team has evolved from two years ago [when Newcastle were last in the Champions League] And we are now a better team.
“This season is not the start that we wanted, but we know the qualities we have in our team.
“We have the confidence and experienced players to turn it on.
‘Hopefully we can start tomorrow.
“We have big goals every season and we have that again this season.
“We want to go as far as possible and we can do fingers crossed.
“When I came to the club, I wanted to be successful.
“In the beginning it wasn’t the way I wanted, but this club has a great fan base, City and the fans earn a lot.
“As a team, we want to give success to Newcastle and to place our names in the history of the club.”
