“AS Roma and several other clubs are still in the race for Joshua #Zirkzee. Specific questions have been asked about loan agreements,” said Plettenberg.
“A final decision is expected soon, because Zirkzee also wants clarity. He has had some minor blows lately, but should be fully fit again by next week at the latest.”
It appears the delays in Zirkzee’s departure could be due to the ‘minor setbacks’ described by Plettenberg, so perhaps his return to full fitness will be key to determining his future.
