Australian basketball legend Andrew Gaze will join caller John Casey in commentating on the opening match in Tasmania.

Game Two shifts home advantage to Wellington, New Zealand, as New Zealand and Australia clash on Monday, December 1 at 5pm AEDT, live on ESPN.

Viewers can watch both games live with ESPN available on Disney+, Foxtel, Kayo Sports, Fetch TV and Sky NZ, as part of the most widely distributed premium sports platform in Australia and New Zealand.

Australia have retained the core of the 2025 Asia Cup championship team, with a mix of emerging young talent and experienced international campaigners making up the squad named for the two-game series with New Zealand.

Leading the young talent getting the opportunity is Dash Daniels, the 17-year-old sensation who has excelled in the NBL for Melbourne United this season.

Josh Bannan, Alex Ducas, Ben Ayre, Angus Glover, Jaylin Galloway, Jordan Hunter, Nick Kay, Keanu Pinder, Elijah Pepper, William Hickey and Jack White join Daniels in the Australian side.

16 Asian international teams have been placed into four groups for the 2027 FIBA ​​Basketball World Cup qualifiers across six international windows.
