Ferrari will run a special Livrei in the Italian Grand Prix this weekend, in honor of the first championship of Niki Lauda with the team 50 years ago.
Lauda won the 1975 driver championship Die de Ferrari 312 T Dreef and took five victories and nine pole positions in total from the 14 rounds. The title was spoken on 7 September on Monza with a third place in Monza-the same date as the race of this year while Ferrari teammate Clay Regazzoni won to the delight of the Tifosi.
To mark the opportunity, Ferrari has adjusted his Livrei to contain the white engine coverage that is worn by the 312 T, and there are also historical accents through a metal silver rear wing, retro numbers and wheel coverings and classic styling to the names of the drivers.
The team kit and races expand have also fallen apart for this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix, inspired by the 1975 season and the style of that time.
Looking ahead to the race, Team Head Fred Vasseur says that it is important that Ferrari does not allow the emotion of his home event to be distracted from what is needed to perform well on the right track.
“Like every year, we are eagerly looking forward to touching the track in Monza, especially a few days after Zandvoort, who did not deliver the results we had hoped for, even if we showed that we had the racing pace to do it well,” Vasseur said.
“For the whole team, the passion of our Tifosi is an incredible motivation to put our hearts in everything we do. We want to give our best to pay them back for their constant support. To do so, we have to put aside emotions and concentrate on performing the weekend to the best of our ability, from the very first round of the free.
“In the course of this season we have made progress in the field of competitiveness, but with such a well -coordinated field we have to be flawless to get the results that we strive for. We give everything we have, knowing that we can count on all the love and support of our Tifosi.”
