FANTASY EFL GAMEWEEK 22 SCOUT PICKS
KEELER
Sam Walker seems like a strong goalkeeper option this round. Bradford City remain solid defensively on home soil and now face two opponents who have struggled offensively. That combination keeps the clean sheets firmly in play and makes Walker a reliable choice for managers looking for security at the back.
DEFENDERS
At the heart of Salford City’s defence, Adebola the spectator continues to stand out. He combines zero potential with a real attacking threat, having already scored this season. With Salford playing twice at home against favorable opposition, he offers multiple routes to points and strong bonus potential. All four of our experts have selected Oluwo, so he takes the vice-captaincy.
Bolton Wanderers’ defensive home record remains one of the best in League One George Johnston firmly in battle. The central defender offers certainty of minutes and benefits from games against the sides that yield very little. One Bolton defensive asset seems hard to ignore this week.
MIDFIELDERS
Further forward for Bolton, Amario Cozier-Duberry looks like one of the standout midfield choices of the round. Two home games against weak opponents give him a strong attacking advantage, and he continues to offer multiple routes to return. Heavy ownership seems likely, but with good reason. All four of our judges highlighted the Cozier-Duberry, so he takes the captaincy.
In midfield, Barnsley’s Davis Keillor-Dunn remains an option with high upside potential. Operating in an advanced role, he has delivered consistent attacking results and has shown the ability to execute explosive attacks in this format. Two home games only increase his appeal.
FORWARD
In front, Yousef Salech stands out as one of the strongest striker options available. His home form has been excellent and with Cardiff City playing twice at home, this feels like an ideal week to back him and extend that run. He was also preferred by all four of our experts this week.
Ashley Fletcher offers a strong attacking difference. Blackpool are heading into two favorable home games and he arrives in good form after providing goals and assists in recent matches. If he stays ahead, he has clear draft potential.
TEAM CHOICES
Bolton Wanderers And Cardiff city stand out as this week’s two strongest picks. Both sides benefit from double home fixtures, strong underlying form and favorable matchups. Investing in their players seems like a sensible approach for managers looking to maximize returns in this round.
