Double game week 3 Captainincy poll: The Top Selection
Barnsley’s Talisman Davis Keillor-Dunn (M) comes to the fore as the most popular captain option this game week, supported by 35% of voters.
He is one of only four players who get double digits in each of the first two games of the season. He found the back of the net in each fixture (+6) and also added a interception per game (+2).
The 27-year-old is confronted with Bolton Wanderers (H) and Peterborough United (A), two of the weakest defensive sides of last season. They admitted 70 and 81 goals respectively.
He is currently owned by 24.5% of managers and counts, with many of these probably giving him the bracelet.
On the second best option
Carle Piergianni (D) was selected by 23% of voters as their captain this game week. The captain of Stevenage has had an incredible start to the season, because he remains a defensive contribution magnet.
He leads the EFL in clearance and registers 29 on just two games (+7). Also managing a clean slate in Gameweek 2, his fantasy attacking power cannot be denied.
The Boro is now confronted with Northampton Town (H) and newly promoted Port Vale (A) in Double Game Week 3. The Cobblers had on average only 1.0 goals per match last season, while the Valianten scored a solitary goal about their first two games in League One.
There is a strong chance for two clean sheets for Piergianni, while the defensive contributions will certainly come in.
Third place

Mickey Demetriou (D) Also gets some CaptainCy Love and receives 11% of the votes.
The 35-year-old continues to dominate in defensive contributions and already has 24 approvals (+6) in two games. He also registered a clean slate (+5) last weekend, so he brought a total of 15 fantasy points.
Crewe Alexandra Play Crawley Town (H) and Fleetwood Town (A) in Double GameWeek 3. Crawley lost their first two games of the season after the relegation last year and only scored in total.
Demetriou was one of the best fantasy activa of last season, and this year is no different.
The 5% Club

All the players below received at least one voice from managers prior to the huge double.
Perry van (D) Plays Rotherham (H) and Wimbledon (A) this game week, two excellent luminaires with a strongly clean leaf potential. He is a strong CaptainCy choice if he is expected to play fit enough.
Jack Sanders (D) This season has recorded two double digits in his two games this season, largely thanks to a clean sheet in each. The defense of the down has been watertight and they are now playing Cheltenham Town (H) and Crawley Town (A).
Teammate Luke Offord (D) Also has 5% of the votes and is an equally strong selection. He has 19 points this season.
Salford City’s Adebola Viewer (D) Plays Accrington Stanley (H) and Newport County (A), who ended 21st and 22nd last year, respectively. It is an ideal set of competitions for Oluwo, which this season has 16 fantasy points about his two games.
George Honeyman (M) is the last player on this list, set at Huddersfield Town (H) and Mansfield Town (A). This season he has 14 points as a result of a goal (+6) and two interceptions (+4). Selected by only 1% of managers, he is an interesting differential choice for Blackpool.
