Christian Mbilli and Lester Martinez set up an exciting scrap as part of Saturday Canelo vs. Crawford Map in Las Vegas.
Mbilli immediately came out to attack and shots to hammer at Martinez’s body. That trend took place in the second Stanza, with both hunters content to be and exchange in the telephone booth.
Through three rounds of action, Mbilli Martinez ran with a margin of 119-78, but Martinez began to turn the tide in round five, put Mbilli under pressure and match the output of the Cameroonian. That turned out to be a successful strategy, but Martinez couldn’t keep up for long because he started to show signs of fatigue near the half point of the fight.
It really started to warm up in the eighth after Mbilli Martinez apparently hurt with a slick right hand. Mbilli succeeded it with an attack of strikes, but Martinez joined Mbilli’s Kin with an upper hand right. Mbilli came back immediately and closes the stanza with a two -part combination.

Both hunters found their moments in the 10th and final round, with Martinez connecting early on a three-punch combo. He followed that with a few uppercuts, but that did not prevent Mbilli from connecting with a large counter left.
Mbilli and Martinez hit it out for the rest of the round, although neither of them could land the fight and sent us to the score cards.
Official result: Christian Mbili vs. Lester Martinez is ruled as a split trek (93-97, 96-94, 95-95).
