A slow display in South Korea when Newcastle United made it three defeats for the season about the spider in a 1-0 loss for a K-League XI earlier today.
Sagent circumstances and 90 minutes that have not made many fears around our desperate need for signing sessions, with the game with a few bad impressions, one or two lively cameies and one worrying injury. Here are our reviews from 10:
Start XI
Pope (6) – was much busier than he expected. The distribution was somewhat improved, which should continue with the expected arrival of Aaron Ramsdale
Krafth (5) – was caught from position on occasions and did not offer much of a threat in the future. Swedish link -Up was not entirely where it was expected to be the right side.
Lascelles (4) – Ran Ravged for the goal and should have treated the danger much better. A lot of 4th choice center half, but will be rusty after a long statements.
Murphy (5) – Shaky first half that included a terrible permission that should have been punished. Looked more comfortable in the second half when we had more control over the game
Livramento (5) – non -characteristic caught in possession on different occasions and has not connected to Gordon on the left. Rare poor performance
Miley (5) – carefully torn off the ball several times. For his size, he must improve his strength on the ball. Eventually three in the second half played on the right side of a back, bizarre.
Tonali (6.5) – The best of a bad group from the starting XI. His socks walked away, but was again wasting in possession with some unmanageable giveaway actions and a few quirky shots.
Willock (4) – Unfortunately at the end it seemed to have suffered a serious injury, which just ended a bad performance. Wish him the best because he is some luck in the field of injuries
Elanga (6) – Irregular and clear work on combinations, but also looked our most likely path in attack. Looks good with our system and will improve with time
Gordon (5) – fear in the first half, but did better in the second because he got a free role. Left his socks, but no end product that has become too usual lately
OSULA (5.5) – had trouble getting into the game in the first half, but had a few chances to be right. Absolutely not ready to lead the border
Replacement
Ashby (7) – did well when he came up. Know that he is immediately the fourth choice, but was ongoing in the tackle and placed a few good crosses.
Thompson (5) – had not much to do, but one shaky clearance indirectly led to Willock’s injury
Hernes (6) – A tidy cameee without pulling trees.
Seung-Sooo (8)-Lively! Immediately recorded three players and forced a corner. Showed speed, exciting dribbling and real urgency. Has noticed more in 10 minutes than most of the game. Our new boy from Korea looks quite a talent.
Harrison (NR) – In added time for Willock.
