Former Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe sues the club for alleged “negligence” with regard to the medical advice he received during an injury hit career at Old Trafford
Axel Tuanzebe sues Manchester United for alleged ‘clinical negligence’ with regard to the ‘medical advice’ they gave him after they left the club two years ago.
The defender left Old Trafford when his contract ended at the end of the 2022-23 season – and has now submitted a legal claim to the Supreme Court, reports De Telegraaf. It is unclear exactly what the claim is related to, but Sky Sports Report That the 27-year-old on July 9 filed a claim in a clinical negligence case linked to “Medical Advice”.
The 27-year-old came through the ranks in Manchester, but was plagued by injuries for much of his time and was never able to nail a place in the first team.
Tuanzebe came to the club of eight years old and went at Junior level Schipper. He made his senior debut in January 2017, but in the six and a half years then he would only appear 37 performances.
The first major problem of the defender came when he sustained a hip injury during the warm-up for a Premier League pat position with Liverpool in October 2019. He was later excluded for the rest of the season after he had injured himself in a Carabao Cup victory on Colchester United two months later.

He still had a long enchanting on the sidelines at the beginning of 2022/23 season and did not return to the training until the new year. Tuanzebe finally enjoyed a long series of games when he came to Ipswich and made more than 40 performances after he had settled as their first choice of right back.
The Manchester -Outfit was approached for comment by Mirror Football. The Tuanzebe representatives have also been contacted.
When United confirmed the exit of Tuanzebe, they only had positive things to say about a player they had in their books for just two decades.
It stated: “His departure is an emotional one for the player and many at the club who have known and helped him over the years. A good character, he leaves United universally respected as an honor for himself and his family.
“Everyone at the club wants to expand our best wishes to Axel while he starts the next chapter of his career. We also want to thank him for always representing Manchester United with class and dignity.”
De Dr. Congo International had Leen Proverbs in Aston Villa, where he previously won the play-off finals of the championship, Napoli and Stoke in his career. Tuanzebe previously helped with Ipswich Land promotion to the Premier League, but then left his deal and now signed at Burnley, who himself prepares for a year in the top flight after second in the championship.
