Miesha Tate has done a lot in the sport of mixed martial arts with the former StrikeForce and UFC champion who is not sure of her future in Vechten. It was recently revealed that Tate still has a fight for its current UFC contract, but not entirely certain whether she will fight that contractual agreement or not.
This was discussed on the Jaxxon Podcast When ‘Cupcake’ approached its current status in the UFC with Tate saying,
“I am not officially ready. I still have a fight about my contract. I would not fight more than once. I don’t want to sign again. I think only one, if that. But I certainly don’t have for sure. I may not be leaning.”
The 39-year-old also put the Kibosh on future boxing attacks, but Tate had a certain openness for possible grasping options. The former UFC Bantamweight Champion has shown a certain level of openness to compete in submitting wrestling, under the newer UFC BJJ banner, but even then Miesha Tate stated that she was getting a little older and had some uncertainties.
Miesha Tate and her recent oeuvre in the UFC
Miesha Tate is now deficient in three of her last four with her last fight that will take place in May of this year. Tate crashed with Some of Sania’s At UFC on ESPN 67 who lost the first of the last through a unanimous decision. That setback in the Moines, Iowa, marked a return to the cage for Tate after almost a year and a half external competition, but its chase occurred fruitlessly in the rigid binary of a victory or loss.
The single victory that Tate achieved in this recent four combat trial came in December 2023 when Miesha Tate Julia finished Avila through submission.
