Total proceeds for the February 13-15 KDFW pool – the fourth of six planned wagering pools ahead of the 152nd running of the $5 million Kentucky Derby on May 2 – was $420,519 ($330,926 in the Win pool and $89,593 in Exactas) – up 1.9% from $412,766 ($319,881 in the Win pool) from last year. $92,885 in Exactas).
A total of $1,277,506 was wagered on future Derby bets across the first four pools, an increase of 1.9% on last year’s $1,253,931.
Inaugurated in 1999, the Kentucky Derby Future Wager is being offered for the 28th year in a row.
Other future deployment dates have been set for March 13-15 (pool 5) and April 2-4 (pool 6). Pool 5 also includes the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager.
