Indian shares fell on Wednesday for the fourth consecutive session. Concerns about the American H-1B visa rules rattled investors again, drags down financially and it has in stock on the Sensex and Nifty.
The Sesex fell 386 points to close at 81,715, while the Nifty fell 113 points and ended at 25,057. Losses were broadly based, with foreign outsourcing any hope for a question boost of the festive season overshadowed.
Top movers:
Tata Motors, Bharat Electronics, Ultratech Cement, Tech Mahindra, M&M and Axis Bank were among the biggest losers and lost to 2.7%. The shares continued to bleed today with 0.7% and more than 4% since Washington made a fee of $ 100,000 on new H-1B-VISA. The sector also took a hit after the US authorities proposed to give priority to higher paid employees in the Visa lottery.
Financials lost 0.6%, while cars gave up 1.2%, because TATA Motors fell sharply with long -term shutdowns at Jaguar Land Rover. Wider markets were also weak, smallcaps and midcaps fell to 1%.
Global markets
Losing back Asian shares of claws, lifted by AI and semi-conductor shares, while the Japanese Nikkei waved back to a positive area. In the US, the futures went up after the S&P 500 had recorded its steepest drop in three weeks after the comments by FED chairman Jerome Powell.
Raw materials and currency
Gold extended record highs, trading at $ 3,773 per ounce. The oil prices were sturdy, with Brent near $ 68 per barrel on stricter outlooks from the stock. And the rupid ended almost flat at 88.69 against the dollar, supported by likely RBI intervention.
