Chelsea return to the European stage tomorrow at 8pm UK time to take on Atalanta on matchday six of the UEFA Champions League at the New Balance Arena as they look to bounce back from a run of three winless games over the past week.
Atalanta is a difficult trip to make, so Enzo Maresca will field his best starting XI to further boost his side’s chances of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition by following up on a 3-1 win over Barcelona a fortnight ago.

Here’s a look at how Chelsea could line up for the match against their Italian opponents.
Goalkeeper – Robert Sanchez is expected to continue between the sticks for Chelsea.
Defenders – Reece James could move back into the back four to play at right-back ahead of Malo Gusto, but Marc Cucurella could continue as left-back. Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana could be the two centre-backs again.
Caicedo and Estevao return
Midfielders – Moises Caicedo has been suspended for Chelsea’s last two Premier League matches but will be available for a Champions League call-up to return to the team in the double rotation alongside Enzo Fernandez. Cole Palmer, meanwhile, could be the attacking midfielder after playing an hour of football last weekend.
£29 million star Estevao Willian could also return to the starting XI for the Blues on their right flank, while Pedro Neto could move to the left wing, replacing Alejandro Garnacho.
Come on – With Liam Delap injured again, Joao Pedro could take charge for Chelsea against Atalanta.
Here’s what the Blues could look like on paper.
