Estevao returns: predicted Chelsea XI vs Leeds United

Chelsea are in good form in the Premier League and will play Leeds United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow at 7.30pm local time on matchday 26 of the competition as they look to strengthen their grip on a top five place in the standings.

After comfortably beating Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend, the Blues will be looking for a similar result against Daniel Farke’s side. Here’s how they could line up as they try to get another three points in front of their home fans.

Remember new hair

Goalkeeper – Robert Sanchez was able to stay in goal for the hosts.

Defenders – Malo Gusto could start again at right-back over Reece James as the England international recovers from a minor setback, while Marc Cucurella may also keep his place at left-back. Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana could complete the Blues’ back four by working together in the heart of the defence.

Estevao in, Andrey Santos out

Midfielders – Andrey Santos started the last game for Chelsea but is not expected to be in the starting XI against Leeds United, with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez starting in the double pivot. The latter played an advanced role this weekend, but could be in a deeper position again this time. Meanwhile, hat-trick hero from the Wolverhampton Wanderers clash, Cole Palmer, could well be the number 10.

Estevao Willian could mark his return to the starting XI on the right flank, while Pedro Neto could continue on the left.

Come on – Joao Pedro has been in good form of late and could be chosen as Chelsea’s sole striker over Liam Delap.

Here’s a look at the potential Chelsea team on paper.
