ESPN has signed a long -term agreement with the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
All 75 games per season, in addition to trekkings, match height points and archive content will be broadcast live on Disney+ in Australia and Nieuw -Zeeland.
Selected live games are also available on ESPN and ESPN2, via Foxtel, Kayo Sports, Fetch TV and Sky NZ.
Local fans will witness the Elite women’s football match and encourage a number of Australian stars, including Sam Kerr (Chelsea), Ellie Carpenter (Chelsea), Steph Catley (Arsenal), Caitlin Foord (Arsenal), Kyra Cooney-Cross (Arsenal) and more.
The opening day starts on Wednesday 8 October and is characterized by a blockbuster opening conflict between defending UEFA Women’s Champions League winners Arsenal and former eight-fold champions Lyon, starting at 6 am AEDT.
Other MatchDay height points include Real Madrid opposite Roma, Barcelona who tackles Bayern Munich and Manchester United Tacking Valerenga.
The agreement underlines the continuous dedication of ESPN to women’s sports, which adds the UEFA Women’s Champions League to an unprecedented portfolio of women’s sports available on ESPN – the Walt Disney Company Sports Brand – worldwide. This growing line -UPL includes the WNBA, WNBL, FIBA International Basketball, extensive NCAA reporting, including women’s volleyball, women’s school gymnastics championship and more.
Through the acquisitions of strategic rights and programming for 45 years, ESPN is a driving force that connects fans with women’s sports.
UEFA Women’s Champions League makes a new 18-team-phase format in the 2025-26 season in the 2025-26 season. After the official draw on September 19, the competition phase starts on Wednesday 8 October with six competition days until mid -December. Knockrondes start in February 2026, with the season that ended in May in the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo, Norway, Norway.
The 2025-26 season will contain top clubs from all over Europe, including reigning champions Arsenal with Caitlin Foor and Steph Catley (Australia), and former title holders FC Barcelona, led by Spanish stars and Ballon d’Or Winners Aitana Bolmatí and Alexia Putellas.
