Gascoigne, 58, has endured many years of struggle with alcohol addiction and psychological problems.
However, he now seems to have taken a big step in the right direction.
Gascoigne publishes a new book that is right in reference to the shirt number that it is best known to wear.

Gascoigne told The mirror: ‘I feel better now than in years. I hope I am at a point that I can look back on everything I have experienced with a different, more positive, perspective.
“After so many years in the spotlight, I feel it’s time for people to get to know the real self.”
The marriage of Gascoigne to Sheryl, which ended in divorce in 1998, was marred by claims of domestic violence.
