The Red Devils have already recalled Keira Barry and Evie Rabjohn from their temporary stay at Sunderland.
United have also loaned Hannah Blundell to Everton in search of minutes.
These moves were also complemented by the signings of Lea Schuller and Hanna Lundkvist, both of whom made their debuts in the 0-0 draw against Arsenal this weekend. There are also rumors that Marc Skinner’s side are closing in on a new deal for Hammarby’s Ellen Wangerheim.
Emma Watson
United have made their latest move and it involves Scottish midfielder Emma Watson.
The official club site reports that “Manchester United Women have recalled midfielder Emma Watson from her loan spell at Crystal Palace.” Despite the 19-year-old signing a season-long loan in August, the club have decided to bring her home early from the loan at Selhurst Park.
The Crystal Palace site reports that “Watson was voted TEN Player of the Month for October after she grabbed an assist against Sunderland and a brace against Ipswich Town.”
She played a total of eight games for the Eagles and scored two goals.
The midfielder made her debut for United in the League Cup against Everton in 2024.
She also scored her first goal for the club against Newcastle United in the same competition, before enjoying a loan spell at Everton for the second part of last season.
Now the club must decide whether to continue with United’s senior team to provide depth in midfield, or move to another club on a temporary basis later this month.
