Ellenborough and Horsham Spin to the top at VBCL – Table Tennis England

Ellenborough and Global University Systems Horsham Spinners lead the Prime Minister’s Divisions of the women and gentlemen after the weekend one of the British Clubs League of the Veterans.

Neither of them had it all on a busy weekend, with 93 teams participating in 15 divisions in Derby Arena and satellite location Draycott & Long Eaton TTC, where Heren Division Five was played.

Women’s divisions

Champions Ellenborough run the road in the Premier Division, But a 6-0 defeat due to nearest challenger weather forests in the last round means that there is still all to play in the second weekend.

The fact that the Scoreline was somewhat skewed is at least partly due to an injury to Sara Williams, who had won her eight previous matches for Ellenborough but was unable to meet.

Combined with a great show by Jurate Brazaityte, Gabriela Tankel and Larisa Titievskaya, Foresters claimed the one -sided victory that leaves them an end to the leaders.

Foresters had slowly started the weekend and pulled 3-3 with TT Shop Liverpool In the first round-so-sol, Kinga Oryl needed to win the last game, which was the only point that their opponents were picked up the entire weekend.

That was followed by a 4-2 loss for Market Rasen in a draw in which all except the first game went the distance. Foresters led 2-1, but Rosemary Rainton laid and then Sarah Horsnell Brazaityte defeated 14-12 in the fifth and Jane Vickers conquered Titievskaya 12-10 in the decision maker.

Williams is at the top of the averages with the only record of 100%, followed by Emma Harradine from Bribar Knighton Park on 7/8.

Topspin -Fusion is at the top Division one And undefeated, their only blemish was a 3-3 draw in round 2 against Cleeve Park, which came from 2-1 and 3-2 to force a draw, with Nicola Duke won twice in the fifth and Dyth North was given the decisive victory in match 6 against Silvia Trenti.

Cleeve Park was drawing specialists, with four 3-3 score lines and one victory that left them unbeaten, but in third place behind Dojo Merchant Services.

Mijung Choi from TopSpin leads the averages with 9/10, followed by Team-Mate Malgorzata Muda with 7/8.

Foresters III leads the Division two classification, and are one of the three unbeaten teams in the eight-member division.

They won four and pulled one to be a point free from Billwood (W3, D2), who themselves are a point for WW Lightning (W2, D3).

Foresters’ draw was against lightning and they came from 3-1 to secure it, thanks to victories for Lynne Trussell and Sue Pingram.

But nobody could beat Lightning’s Clare style, who claimed a complete house of 10 victories to lead the averages.

Northop Dragons won four of four and Sit Sop van Division three, In anticipation of unbeaten Milton Keynes, who won three and pulled one. The top two have played a match less than the two teams of them in the Zeven-Team Division and still have to meet.

Gillian Richardson from the leaders won all six of her competitions to surpass the averages.

Divisions for men

Global University Systems Horsham Spinners are unbeaten and top of the Premier Division, A point free of champions top spin fusion.

The leaders put down a marker in the opening round with a 5-1 defeat of the champions and they would have had a clean sweep were not for the victory of Neil Pickard over Mircea Neagu in the last game. Oleh Biletskyi and Jacek Koziarski each won twice for the spinners.

What could be more important in the long term was that spinners from 3-1 came down to save a draw against Bribar Knighton Park in the second round, their only fallen point of the weekend.

It was Koziarski who won the last match of that match and he is the best regular player in the averages with 8/9 – although Niall Cameron of Ormeau all won.

Division 1 (GP 1) is led by Custom Deighton, won only five individual games all week – three of them against Draycott in the final round when they ended with a record of W4, D1.

Deighton led that match 2-1 but stood 3-2 behind before Lee Horton assured a point insured by Stephen Horsfield 3-2 (13-11, 8-11, 13-11, 10-12, 11-7).

Draycott is second and are also unbeaten, with three victories and two draws, but it is Deighton’s Horton who leads the averages with eight victories from eight.

Hurricanett Top Division 1 (GP 2) And are unbeaten, although they have dropped a point against Lage Mobly, for whom Sherwin Ramata won twice, including in four narrow matches against Michael O’Driscoll.

Ramata was on fire even the entire weekend and won all 10 of his competitions to surpass the averages for hurricane pawal orzechowski and Paul Cicchelli, who each lost one.

Despite the shape of Ramata, Mobly are fifth in the table, and they are Foresters A who are the nearest challengers of Hurricane, one point back.

Admiralpoten and Wolven Vetts both have 8pts in it Division 2 (GP 1) But legs are at the top of sets difference, despite losing 4-2 of their nearest rivals that are undefeated and three have won and two have signed.

Paws’ Weekend was supported by Filip Wojtkowiak, who won all 10 games to be at the top of the divisional means.

Ashford is unbeaten and two points free from Foresters C in Division 2 (GP 2). Their only fallen point was against Cutnall Green in a match that led Ashford 2-0, but was 3-2 behind before Percino Collino beat Tim O’MaHoney to reach a point.

That victory was one of the nine out of 10 for Collino, who surpasses the averages.

Division 3 (GP 1) is led by unbeaten Newton Abbot, who won four and pulled one to sit a point above Ajax Wolvey.

Abbot was fed back in round 4 by Foresters E, in a match they had stood 2-1 and 3-2 but was really on a song in the match between the top two, which Abbot won 6-0.

Michael Hugh from the leaders is at the top of the averages with nine victories of 10 played.

Only one point separates the top two Division 3 (GP 2) And they are Norton Commandos that are at the forefront of Topspin Fusion II.

However, it was Fusion that inflicted the only defeat to the leaders, with a 4-2 margin in the first round. The match was ready at 2-2 when Simon Philipsz won in five against Neil Hough, and Rohan Schloss completed the victory for Fusion.

Fusion then won their next four games, while Fusion pulled with Foresters D and lost to Foresters F.

Hough won 5/6 to lead the averages of teammate Keith Deaville (8/10).

Two teams are unbeaten Division 4 (GP 1), But it is Bristol Associates (W3, D2) leading by a point of Loughborough Unicorn (W2, D3).

The match between the top two was a draw, Eenhoorn led 2-1 but at the back of 3-2 before Simon Rudland beat Mark Farrow to earn the point.

Bristol’s Daniel James Harris and Robin Pearce from Unicorn Leiden the averages, each with nine victories of 10.

The title looks like Lancashire hotpots to lose Division 4 (GP 2) Because they won all five games to open a four -point lead about Guernsey and Bristol Associates II.

Hotpots dropped only five individual competitions all weekend and Phil Crankshaw won all 10 of him to surpass the averages, one competition for teammate Rick Beattie.
