NSW Southern Tablelands Horsewoman Anne Walshaw keeps a family association alive with armor races that includes almost eight decades.

Anne is located in Parkesbourne, near Goulburn and has been an active participant in the sport for most of her life and enjoys success as a trainer, driver, owner, breeder and yearling sales.

“My father Louis Walshaw and grandfather Cecil were both involved in Draven,” said Anne.

Anne is currently breeding from a trio of exceptionally bred breeding march, two of which have been nominated for the Australian Pacing Gold Online Winter Mix Sale from 15 to 17 August.

The couple is the mare of the whole number of Waarmarkt AlmiHhata (Lot 97) and the modern art daughter More than good (Lot 106).

AlmiHhata, herself a winner, is the Dam of the Dual Albion Park winner Miss Hattie and the eight times Victorian winner nothing sweeter and is a sister-in-blood of the Victoria Derby Heat and Shakamaker Classic Winner Smoker.

She also belongs to the same family as the ‘black type’ Performers Captain Ravishing, Louvre, Miss Hazel, Renaissance Man, Promiseland, My General Lee and Gumdrops.

More than good, the winner of seven races and a finalist of Victoria Oaks, left two winners of just three foals from the racing time. They are Lethal Louie, who produced the Sa-Sires as a three-year-old and this season won twice in Albion Park and give us a wink, a winner of nine.
