CAM92 is entering a new cycle this season with many players’ changes this season, because many of the talents of the club have continued in the summer.
Stars such as Lucas Montecot, Mathis Clément and Corentin Sellier all moved to Beerschot, while Timothée Clément returned to Belgium with Herakles.
As such, they have compiled an extensive plan to integrate the new players in the side who will include nine games – five friendly matches, four French championship – before they are confronted with Club de Campo in Barcelona.
They will look at the international experience of Louis Haertelmeyer who played this year with the French national team at the Nation Cup and the Eurohockey Championship in Mönchengladbach this year.
They also have four players who were silver medal winners with the French team of the age of 21: Tom Gabin Lorrazuri, Rafael Stab and Haertelmeyer who have since moved to the senior team.
CAM92 returns for their third KO 16 at Real Club de Polo Club. There is very pleasure to return for coach Aymeric Bergamo who played his first EHL match (and the first qualification for the CAM92) at this location.
Indeed, every game that the club played in the EHL has Begamo, either as a player or coaching.
He said about the Campo match: “The trek is difficult for us again this year – we will play against a very impressive European club – but as always we will give it everything we have to represent our club as well as possible and hopefully we can achieve a great achievement.”
