After the successful display of exceptional players selected from the current Nigeria’s largest basic football competition, the football tournament of the Bayelsa Governor, the selected side, tested their power against two prominent Yenagoa -based teams, Kingdom Stars and Afini FC.
The game was compiled by the organizers of the Prosperity Cup to allow the boys to understand each other prior to an upcoming exploratory event.
While the selected side, to be known as lifestyle starlets, Kingdom Stars defeated two goals for NIL, they were unable to make their way against the second team, AFINI FC, because they lost one goal to Nil.
According to the director general of the Prosperity Cup, the game was to get the boys in shape for other great friendly games and some scouting programs, and noted that plans are also on the site to expose them to the handlers of the Golden Eaglets and the Flying Eagles.
He praised the boys for their good performance, even though they are playing together for the first time, and insisted on them to work harder prior to the upcoming events, which may bring their football career to the next level.

Technical director of the Nigerian Football Federation, Austin Eguavoen, who witnessed the matches, praised the Governor of the State, Douye Diri for throwing his weight behind sport development and football, and added that the Prosperity Cup Bayelsa has projected in a positive light in the state to praise in the state.
He emphasized that he will work with other stakeholders in the Glass House to see that exceptional players get better clubs with one and outside the state, and also have the opportunity to show himself in the context of the country.
The former Bendel Insurance Coach Monday Oday also said that he was not surprised by what he saw, because he visited the state for the earlier final, and also signed some players during his time at the Benin Arsenal.
He joined coach Eguavoen to praise the enormous support and initiative of the State Governor for Sports and Football Development, he praised the organizers for guaranteeing the selection of young and talented players, adding that the players will be world knockers in their different position.
