The EFL Cup second round took place on Wednesday with various American national team players who learned their opponents.
Josh Sargent, Haji Wright and Damion Downs are among the American players who will be available for the second round in two weeks. Brenden Aaronson, Tyler Adams, Lynden Gooch and Patrick Agyemang could also perform in the next round.
Antonee Robinson will probably be Fulham’s second round draw vs. Bristol City miss due to injury.
Sargent and Downs will be with it when Norwich City Southampton organizes in an All-Edl Championship affair. Sargent scored on Tuesday in the 2-1 victory of the Canarianen on 2-1, while Down’s first start made the Saints in a 1-0 Road Triumph over the city of Northampton.
Wright helped on Tuesday with the winning goal of Coventry City in a 1-0 win over Luton Town. The Sky Blues travels in the second round to Collega-Weederang side Millwall.
In an all-prime minister League showdown, Tyler Adams And Bournemouth will organize Brentford in the Vitality Stadium. Both teams participate in the competition at this stage.
Brenden Aaronson And Leeds United will enter the tournament against Sheffield on Wednesday. The owls defeated Bolton Wanderers 4-2 on spot kicks after a 3-3 draw by 90 minutes.
Dual-national attacker Luca Koleosho was able to see the field when Burnley Patrick Agyemang and Derby County houses. AGYEMANG is still looking for his club debut after having undergone a planned operation earlier this summer.
Charlie Kelman and Charlton Athletic visit Cambridge United in the second round, while Lynden Gooch and Huddersfield Town visit his former club, Sunderland.
The second round matchups take place on 26-27 August.
