“It was an important response to West Ham.
“We had a quick turnaround for this game.
“I don’t think we were at our best, but we are in a good position in this competition now.
“We learn a lot.
“This format is really good, more games, but it is a bigger test when you return to the Premier League.
“It was good to play a game behind West Ham, we put that behind us and scored two goals
“We want to progress beyond the competition phase.
“We have now put ourselves in a strong position… but there are still many challenges ahead.
“Now we are leaving in the Champions League.
“Getting out of Marseille will be incredibly difficult.”

“He was really good. He had to be.”
“It was an impressive performance from us after the weekend [at West Ham]and Malick played a big role in that.”

“It was very reminiscent of the [League] cup final.
“It was from a distance.
“It was a training ground exercise so well done to all the coaches involved.”
