To say that this has been one of the strangest transfer penters that a club had in the recent memory, would be an understatement.
Newcastle United finally answered their long -term wing player with the signing of Anthony Elanga. And Aaron Ramsdale has been introduced as new competition for Nick Pope.
But the window will be remembered for a long time for the enormous amount of failed attempts we have made to sign our top goals, which are posted every time by a member of the ‘Big Six’ despite our Champions League status and eye shipping costs that are offered.
And it seems that things are about to take a drastic turn while the club gains a surprise movement for a certain Aston Villa captain …
According to Post Craig Hope, Newcastle is now considering a shock bid for Aston Villas John Mc Eddie How’s wish to have six midfield options that have this next season, led him to John McGinn,
Lewis Miley has been sold Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock lost to injuries and is the next available option if one of our start trio is not available.
Although signing offensive options still seems to be the priority, with two strikers that may be needed, McGinn is said to be high for his reliability and character: two properties that are difficult, it is known that they value above all.
Villa is in a difficult situation: although they do not want to sell their captain, and he has left for two years to his contract, Unai Emery’s has to raise money quickly if they want to do more signing sessions on the market.
And although it was not the possession that we had hoped that it would be at the start of the window, it is clear that our offer from Champions League football could tempt McGinn to change Villa Park for St James’ Park.
Hope also claims that McGinn is not the only Villa star we keep an eye on: on top of the existing reports that Ollie Watkins could be our next striker, Jacob Ramsey is still admired.

Until now there had been a focus on bringing in younger players with potential to either become world -class or be able to be sold for profit.
But in midfield, with the 18-year-old Miley our only backup of our start trio, we need reinforcements and a reliable replacement to cover Longstaff and Willock.
Signing McGinn would not get fans of their seats, but he is a leader, versatile, finishes his socks and has bags with experience while we take on a difficult season that participates on four fronts.
It would also weaken a rival, although in itself that could make a villa reluctant to sell, unless the player insists on a movement that comes closer to family in Scotland.
