Eddie Howe has spoken before Newcastle United take on Everton.
The competition schedule remains brutal.
United narrowly lost at Manchester City last weekend after three away wins in a row, following victories over Spurs, Aston Villa and Qarabag FK.
On Tuesday evening, Newcastle United managed to win again with a 3-2 against Qarabag, moving forward in the Champions League with a total of 9-3.
Now back to the Premier League action as Newcastle take on Everton at St James’ Park on Saturday at 3pm.
Eddie Howe spoke at his pre-match press conference at Newcastle United ahead of the Everton clash:
“I have seen good reactions from everyone, there is a very good feeling between the players. The feeling is high.”
Eddie Howe on Everton:
“It’s a big game for us.
“Everton have done well on their travels, their away form has been good.
“David’s team is always difficult to score against. Our attacking play has to be very good and our defensive mentality has to improve.”
Eddie Howe on the comforts of home:
“It’s great to be back home, we need to get our rhythm back at St. James’ Park.
“Tuesday was a result we absolutely needed and we want to get our home form back to its best.”
Eddie Howe update on Tino Livramento, Jacob Ramsey and Lewis Miley:
“I think Tino [Livramento] will be early March, he has done well, he has been training and running for a while. I think when he comes back he’ll be in a good place.
“Jacob [Ramsey] – we hope to be able to train today, so fingers crossed for tomorrow.
“We have to be careful with Lewis [Miley]He’s had a few injections, we’re looking at a few weeks for him. If we don’t address this injury properly, he could be out for the entire season.”
