As we know, Eddie Hearn is precisely afraid to make waves in the world of martial arts. The same goes for Dana White, and with them both battling it out in professional boxing, it’s inevitable that they’ll clash from time to time.

Hearn has spoken a lot about Dana’s Zuffa Boxing operation and the issue of fighter pay, and while Eddie has always seemed to have a positive relationship with the UFC boss, he certainly hasn’t been the biggest fan of some of the moves he’s made.
In a recent interview, Hearn said the following about Dana White.

“We’re going to war, it’s as simple as that, but that’s OK,” Hearn said of their relationship. “They might not think I’m a threat, and I might think I’m way better than them, it doesn’t really matter, but it doesn’t have to.
“We’ll talk, and we can do some stuff together, or we might just keep fighting for however long it lasts. But when I see him talk about boxing – and I don’t mean this in any disrespect – he doesn’t really know much about the fighters or the sport as it is.
“But I see a guy who is 100 percent invested in UFC and not really invested in boxing, if I’m being honest. Because when he does that, while he’s in the war room or whatever, and he says, ‘What’s going on, guys?’ I’m engaged.
“But if you’re at a press conference and you’ve got some notes here and it’s like, ‘We’ve got a 10-round fight, this guy…’, I’m like, ‘I’m not interested’…
“I messaged Dana to meet him, I think he messaged yesterday to meet him. But I had a flight, we had to go to New York, because we had a flight that we could only get on and if we hadn’t made it, who knows when we would have gotten here?
“So I didn’t manage to catch up with him, but we went… I messaged him first on Saturday… So we were supposed to meet yesterday, but we’re doing well.”
