Northfield, Oh – Director Luke Ebersole achieved his 1,000th Harnas racing career on Sunday (September 14) in MGM Northfield Park.
Ebersole won his first victory on August 29, 2007, on the Mt. Gilead (OH) Fair, who drove Eagle Sam to victory for his father Jeff Ebersole.
On Sunday, Ebersole followed his brother Logan Ebersole van de Wings, while ROC Vodka defended the Pylon position.
In the rear tight, Tick’s A Yankin was sent out and ROC Vodka challenged the leadership in which the couple arrived in the quarter: 28 arrived.
Tick’s A Yankin worked for the first time past ROC Vodka in the distant bend, when Blue Ocean (Ronnie Wrenn Jr.) first started to put pressure on.
Arrived at half in a test: 56.1, Ebersole continued to step on the gas with Tick’s A Yankin.
The Ebersole brothers started to get rid of the field on the three-quarters in 1: 24.1 and the stage was set for a family confrontation.

Turning for home, Tick’s A Yankin was confidently driven to the thread and Ebersole gave his 1,000th career victory when the couple won 2-3/4 lengths in 1:53. ROC Wodka fought Gamely, but had to settle for second place.
“I couldn’t be happier, this is such a great milestone,” said a jubilant Ebersole after the victory.
