It is a week with drama, secrets and emotional racks in Easters, while tensions on the Albert Square are rising. Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) is planning to buy the VIC, but she is confronted with unexpected roadblocks, with both financial and emotional obstacles that are in danger of derailing her future. The Laters and the Beales go against each other in a fierce bidding war.
Elsewhere, the Panesar faces a new wave of unrest. The shock pregnancy of Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliya James) forces her to make a life-changing decision, just like Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) is struggling to keep the family together under growing pressure, including police raids and the arrest of Ravi. The tension flows into her relationships with Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace), causing buried tensions to the surface.
In the meantime, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is considering telling the truth about Annie’s paternity, but her confession to Oscar threatens to reopen old wounds with Max Branning (Jake Wood). While Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) tries to perform and Lauren Branning (Jaqueline Jossa) and Peter Beale (Thomas Law) help, a spirit from his earlier return, who brings danger to their door.
With secrets unraveling, divided families and tested loyalty, it is again an explosive week in Walford.
Monday, July 21:
The rods buzz with excitement about the potential move from cat to the VIC, but the mood quickly shifts when both Yolande and Ian are worried about her decision. In the meantime, Jean receives a phone call from Alfie, but becomes a sideline on the BAP bus and forget to pass on the message to Stacey. Later the Laters arrive at the VIC, only to collide with the Beales, which also offer for sale. Jean finally reminds himself of the call from Alfie and passes the message on to Stacey.
Back at no. 41, tensions rise while Suki picks up in Vinny after the announcement of Ash’s engagement. After a heart-to-heart with Eve, Suki tries to make up for it, but peace is short-lived when she learns that Vinny plans to attend Ash’s engagement party behind her back. The confrontation that follows leads to a heated argument, in which Vinny gives a number of hard truths about Suki’s upbringing.
At the Vic, Sparks fly while Cindy hears Ian’s schedule to sell Beale’s Eels to finance pub purchase, which has asked a new round of shots between the couple. Elsewhere, Kathy Sharon calls her to let Vicki stay at number 43, just as Vicki is considering going to the police about Bernie.
Tensions are also applied between Phil and Jay when Phil says that Lexi should withdraw from him. Things are a worrying turn when Julie pops up with news that Nigel is missing. Fortunately Jay and Callum succeed in tracing him, and with the help of Yolande they bring Nigel back safely to No. 55.
Tuesday, July 22:
Johnny, Elaine and Linda are preparing for the VIC auction, while Kat returns to No. 31 with promising news from the bank. However, her hope is interrupted when Stacey reveals that she is unable to borrow her the money, leaving Kat Heartbroken behind. Jean Stacey’s interprets later and suspects that Alfie Secretly helps Hayley. But after a sincere conversation, Jean Stacey’s advice asks to reconsider, and she finally decides to support Kat.
While the auction starts, Jean, Freddie and Mo do their best to block the procedure, while Kat is waiting for Stacey’s decision. A bid war breaks out between the Beales and a ownership developer, which increases the tension.
Elsewhere, Avani is clearly disturbed, and with Priya and Ravi are distracted, she turns to Barney for help. The pair sneaks at Harry’s barn, where a pregnancy test confirms that Avani is expected.
At No. 55 Flare Tempers Flare as Julie and Phil Clash. Julie later opens Jay in the cafe, while Yolande tries to reason with Phil. In the meantime, Nicola is making a daring move – after discovering Harry’s involvement with Ravi, she steals his phone and warns Jack for a shady deal. The tip-off results in the dramatic arrest of Ravi and Okie.
Wednesday, July 23:
In the hope of a new start, Linda concludes that it is time to tell Oscar the truth about Annie’s paternity. However, she is thrown when Oscar suggests that Max has the right to know too. Dealed about the Fallout, Linda turns to Lauren and speaks to her to convince Oscar to keep the secret.
In the meantime, things remain tense between Julie and Phil as their contrasting views on the care of Nigel to create friction. But after a chat with Billy, Phil decides to make more effort to treat each other.
At the police station, Ravi continues to ask, while the Panesars back in Walford, are furious if officers no. 41 robberies in search of evidence. In an attempt to protect Ravi, Priya ropes in Harry to help drugs of one of his property, where Kojo does volunteer work to help.
Elsewhere, Avani is struggling with its secret. Although she almost opens for Priya about her pregnancy, she eventually keeps back. Later, Suki catches Avani and looks at a family planning website. When it is confronted, Avani admits that she is pregnant and has decided to have an abortion.
Thursday, July 24:
Oscar wakes up after a one-night stand and is confronted with a strict warning from Jack, who encourages him not to complicate things further for Lauren and Peter. Later Oscar offers babysit so that the couple can enjoy a quiet meal, but the evening takes a dark turn when an old employee, Mike, pops up. Tensions escalate while Mike Oscar threatens, and although he flees before Lauren and Peter return, he leaves a hair -raising message.
In the meantime, Suki is struggling to concentrate while Vinny is going to attend Ash’s engagement party. Derived and worried, she is looking for guidance from the Granthi about the pregnancy of Avani. Elsewhere, Avani Barney opens and explains her decision not to keep the baby.
Later Suki connects with Eva again and offers an olive branch after her recent cold and distant behavior causes friction in between.
As always it is never smooth sailing in Walford, but will we finally find out who will be the new landlord or lady of the VIC? It’s all coming next week.
